New Apple Pencil Pro Features to Use in Procreate

New Apple Pencil Pro Features to Use in Procreate

The release of the Apple Pencil Pro means new features to use in Procreate! Find out about the new Procreate features the new Apple Pencil Pro offers in this post.

There are 3 new features of the Apple Pencil Pro that correlate with Procreate. These 3 features are: barrel roll, squeeze, and haptic feedback.

What are these features and what do they do in Procreate?

Barrel roll: barrel roll is when you twist the pencil. When you twist the Apple Pencil Pro in Procreate, the brush stroke you’re making will change size (or even color and more depending on the brush’s settings).

Squeeze: Squeeze is simply when you squeeze the pencil. When you squeeze in Procreate, you’ll be able to activate shortcuts and select layers.

Haptic feedback: Haptic feedback is when the pencil vibrates. Haptic feedback in Procreate is a response when you squeeze, tap, etc.

These features are only available in the new Apple Pencil Pro. If you buy the Apple Pencil Pro, then you’ll be able to use these 3 new features. If you don’t get the Apple Pencil Pro, you won’t be able to use these features. However, not having the Apple Pencil Pro won’t affect much; you’ll be able to draw in Procreate like you always have without it. It’s just a matter of if you want to use these 3 features.

That’s all for this post.
